I'm just a dabbler. I like to try my hand at everything- you name it I'll try it! Now, I'm not claiming to be the best, or even good at the things I try, but it's a learning process right! This blog is all about my trial and errors, so we all can make beautiful things!

Nativity Finger Puppets

A friend and I came up with pattern for these cute little finger puppets.
They are made out of felt.
The Holy Family, Mary, Joseph and Jesus.
After cutting them out, I used the thin 'blanket stitch' on my machine. I then just sewed the hood on, and then the body. (If you would rather you can hot glue them together.)
The Three Wisemen.
When they were sewn, I then hot glued the heads, hair and other accessories on.
The Shepards and their sheep.
Using a fine tip permanent marker, I drew on the faces. The angel and wisemen are decorated with glitter glue.
The angel and donkey.
Turned out pretty cute! I think I'm going to put them in my advent calender.
Let me know if you want a copy of the pattern.

  6. I would love the pattern for your finger puppets. They are so cute. I bought a small 5 piece set for my girls and they love them, but I think I need to add a few characters.
